Created by a Canadian designer with over two decades in the design and construction industry, the brand emerged from a desire to move beyond mass production and toward objects with meaning. Lore.Well is rooted in the understanding that décor is not simply aesthetic—it carries story, energy, and intention.
As a Canadian-owned, female-founded ecommerce brand, Lore.Well partners with independent artisans to curate small-batch, Canadian-made pieces for the modern home. Each collection is thoughtfully selected to support harmony, balance, and mindful living, while strengthening the connection between maker and consumer. Through considered curation and transparent values, Lore.Well simplifies value-aligned purchasing and brings purposeful, story-driven décor into everyday spaces.
Cally Ashby
Lore.Well was founded by Cally, an interior designer and Certified Mindful Design Practitioner, as a natural extension of her successful design practice, Ash+Acre Projects.
Rooted in mindful design principles and a conscious shift away from mass production, the brand grew from her belief that intentional, well-crafted objects shape how we feel, live, and connect within our homes.
Lore.Well honours craftsmanship, material story, and thoughtfully curated décor that supports ritual, grounding, and meaningful everyday living.
Land Acknowledgement
Lore.Well respectfully acknowledges that we live and work on the traditional and unceded territories of Indigenous Peoples. We recognize the enduring presence, cultures, and stewardship of the land, and we honour the histories, knowledge, and communities that continue to shape this place today.

Our collections are proudly made in Canada in partnership with independent Canadian. Each piece is crafted with care using quality, ethically sourced materials and traditional techniques.
